DAY 01: EASTER ISLAND

Arrival to Easter Island. Reception at the airport with Mataveri necklaces of flowers and / or shells. Transfer to the hotel of choice. Accommodation.

DAY 02: Hanga Roa / RANO RARAKU / ANAKENA / HANGA ROA

The first stop after leaving his hotel leads to a non-Ahu restored, Vaihu AHU located in the bay on the coast HANGA TE'E south of the island, witnessed a destruction phase of a few centuries ago. We follow AKAHANGA AHU region, which legend tells us that the HOTU famous tomb of King MATUA is located next to the Ahu. After we come to one of the largest sites on the culture of Rapa Nui, the RARAKU RANO quarry where he carved a total of approx. 900 statues, 397 of them lying down or standing still in various stages of their construction and transportation. Picnic lunch included in the zone Rana Raraku picnic. In the afternoon, proceed to the AHU TONGARIKI, Renovated in 1995, with its 15-foot statues. The penultimate site visit is the "Navel of the World, together with the AHU TE PITO KURA, with the highest Moai moved and erect, not yet restored. DAY 03 HANGA ROA / ORONGO / AHU AKIVI / HANGA ROA

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning half day tour visiting the Rano Kao volcano, whose deep crater of lush vegetation contains a large freshwater lake covered with reeds. From here continue to Orongo cultural center, located at the top of the crater 300 mts. above the sea, where unfolded year after year birdman ceremony or Tangata Manu, we will see over 100 petroglyphs representing among others the god Make Make, the man Tangata manu bird and seabird Manutara. He continues to visit Ana Kai Tangata, a cavern where the islanders took refuge in times of war and where you can see many paintings, more Ahu Vinapu forward, interesting architecture reminiscent of those made by the Incas because of the perfection of the cuts and location of stones. Afternoon excursion to Ahu Akivi, large platform composed of 7 Moais, all facing the sea caves Ana Tepahu and quarry of Puna Pau, sculpted top of the Moai which are called Pukao (combed typical), Ahu Tahai. Return to hotel. At night dinner with folkloric show at the Hotel Hanga Roa. Return to your hotel and overnight.
